Terms & Conditions

1. Validity of Quotation
This quotation is valid for 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be subject to change without notice.

2. Booking & Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.

The client must provide proof of payment in order for the booking to be confirmed.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before the vehicle is handed over to the client at the final destination.

No vehicle will be collected, transported, or released until the relevant payments have cleared in Trans-SA Auto Relocations’ bank account.

3. Cancellation Policy

Should the client cancel 48 hours or less before the scheduled collection date, the full 50% deposit will be forfeited.

If cancellation occurs more than 48 hours prior to collection, the deposit remains non-refundable but may be used as a credit toward a future booking within 6 months (at Trans-SA Auto Relocations’ discretion).

4. Lien Clause (Legal Protection)
“Trans-SA Auto Relocations retains a carrier’s lien on the vehicle until all transport and associated fees are paid in full. The vehicle will not be released until payment has cleared.”

5. Payment Terms

Payment must be made via EFT unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may result in additional storage or holding fees.

Failure to pay outstanding balances may result in legal recovery action at the client’s cost.

6. Insurance & Liability

The vehicle is transported under our Carrier’s Liability Cover, which only covers damage directly caused during transit by the carrier.

The client is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is covered under their own comprehensive insurance policy, including accidental or mechanical breakdown cover.

Pre-existing damage, stone chips, glass damage, electrical faults, mechanical failures, or any issues arising from worn components are not covered under carrier liability.

7. Vehicle Condition Requirements

The vehicle must be safe, roadworthy, and fit for long-distance travel at the time of collection.

Any mechanical, engine, battery, or electrical failure during transit is entirely at the client’s risk.

Please do not book your vehicle for relocation if you are aware it may not complete the journey. We are a professional relocation service, not a breakdown recovery service.

Vehicles that become inoperable during transit due to mechanical failure will incur additional towing or storage fees payable by the client.

8. Personal Belongings & Loose Items

No personal belongings or loose items are permitted in the vehicle, including tools, boxes, luggage, or any goods not permanently fitted.

Trans-SA Auto Relocations accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal items or any objects left in the vehicle.

The vehicle will be inspected, and any non-compliant items may result in refusal of service without refund.

9. Delays & Force Majeure
While every effort is made to adhere to agreed timelines, Trans-SA Auto Relocations shall not be held liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, road closures, law enforcement stops, strikes, mechanical issues, accidents, or third-party service delays.

10. Indemnity
The client hereby indemnifies and holds Trans-SA Auto Relocations, its drivers, employees, and subcontractors harmless against any claims, losses, damages, costs, or liabilities arising from:

Hidden or undisclosed defects of the vehicle

Mechanical or electrical failures

Vehicle modifications that affect performance or clearance

Failure by the client to disclose relevant information regarding vehicle condition

11. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting this quotation, making payment, or proceeding with the booking, the client acknowledges and agrees to all the above Terms & Conditions.
